privacy policy
Last updated: October 23, 2026
This policy explains what this website collects, why, and who receives it. It covers mayolandscapedesign.com only.
Who we are
Mayo Landscape and Design, 3 Abbott Ln, Concord, MA 01742. You can reach us at [email protected] or (978) 831-2543.
What you send us
When you fill in the request form on the contact page, we receive:
- Your first and last name, and a company name if you give one
- Your email address and phone number
- The property address
- The services you are interested in
- The days and arrival times that suit you for a visit
- Anything you write about the project, and up to ten photos you upload
- Whether you agree to receive marketing emails or marketing text messages from us
If you call or email us, we receive whatever you tell us that way. There is no account system, no login and no payment processing on this website.
What the site records as you browse
Google Analytics, run through Google Tag Manager, shows us how visitors use the site: the pages viewed, how you arrived (a search, an ad or a link), your device and browser type, your approximate location at city level, and when you tap our phone number or email address. It does not tell us who you are, and Google Analytics does not store your IP address.
The Meta Pixel, from the company that runs Facebook and Instagram, tells Meta which pages you viewed and when you tap our phone number or email address. We use it to see whether our ads on Facebook and Instagram lead to visits and enquiries, and Meta uses it to decide who sees those ads. Meta may connect it to your Facebook or Instagram account under its own privacy policy.
The site is hosted by Cloudflare. Like any web host, it handles your IP address and browser details in order to deliver the pages and protect the site from attacks.
Why we use it
To answer your enquiry, arrange a site visit, and discuss your project. If you give a phone number, we may text you about your enquiry and your visit, as the form explains. We send marketing emails or marketing text messages only if you agree to them on the form. The browsing information helps us understand which pages and ads bring people to us, so we can improve the site and spend our advertising sensibly.
How the form reaches us
The request form is provided by Jobber, the software we use to manage enquiries and jobs. What you submit goes straight into our Jobber account, and Jobber processes it in order to provide that service. Jobber's privacy policy is at getjobber.com/privacy-policy.
The form is protected from spam by Google reCAPTCHA and uses Google Maps to suggest your address as you type. Both are covered by Google's privacy policy and terms of service.
Who receives it
We do not sell your information for money, and we do not share what you put in the form with anyone except where the law requires it, or with a supplier working on your project where you have asked us to.
The browsing information described above goes to Google and to Meta, as those sections explain. Meta's use of it to choose who sees ads can count as "sharing" for advertising under some state privacy laws. You can switch it off as described under Your choices.
How long we keep it
Enquiries are kept for as long as we may reasonably need them for our records and to serve you as a customer. Ask us to delete yours and we will. Google Analytics data is kept for 14 months. Meta keeps pixel data under its own policy.
Cookies
Google Analytics and the Meta Pixel each store small cookies in your browser so that a return visit can be recognised. The site sets no other cookies of its own.
Some parts of the site are loaded from other companies, which means your browser makes a request to their servers:
- Google Fonts, which supplies the typefaces the pages are set in.
- Elfsight, which displays our Google reviews. The reviews themselves are public reviews left on our Google Business Profile.
- Jobber, which supplies the request form on the contact page, together with Google reCAPTCHA and Google Maps.
Each of those companies may set storage in your browser under their own terms, which we do not control.
Your choices
- Turn off analytics and the pixel. If your browser sends a Global Privacy Control or Do Not Track signal, this site does not load Google Analytics or the Meta Pixel at all. Many browsers and privacy extensions offer one of these settings.
- You can also block or clear cookies in your browser, install Google's Analytics opt-out add-on, and manage how Meta uses your activity for ads in your Meta ad preferences.
- Every marketing email has an unsubscribe link. Reply STOP to stop our text messages, or STOP MKT to stop marketing texts only.
- You can ask us what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Email [email protected].
Children
This site is meant for homeowners and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 13.
Changes
If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted on this page with a new date at the top.
